Learn more about the specific nature of lapidary materials, equipment and techniques in this 8 week class. Subjects will vary, but may include material selection for design purposes, making a gauged stone, complex cabochon cutting, and dimensional carving.
This class is open to adults, 18+ that have successfully completed multiple Basic Lapidary Class, and/or have secured approval directly from the instructor.
Closed-toe shoes required, clothing should be simple and able to get wet or soiled.
Cancellation policy No refunds for cancellations. If registrant must cancel due to medical emergency or natural disaster conditions. (fire, flooding etc), credit will be extended to the next available class session. Please check your calender for availability before reserving class space. We will not provide make-up classes for lack of childcare or scheduling conflicts.

RESERVATION ONLY: Registration must be completed at at www.oxnardgem.com REGISTRATION: Must be approved by admin. This advanced lapidary class will teach the student techniques that will take their gem carving to greater levels. Students must complete their basic class projects and have completed at least 2 basic lapidary sessions to qualify for this class. Maximum of 8 students per class.
